Screened Blend is a blend of half Screened Topsoil and half Mushroom Soil. The Mushroom Soil naturally enriches the Screened Topsoil making the screened blend an excellent growing media for a wide variety of plants. It is particularly well suited for vegetables and turf.

Due to its lime and salt content, Mushroom Soil can be detrimental to members of Ericaceae (heath family) such as rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, blueberries, and cranberries. Other woody shrubs and trees are generally similarly intolerant.
